If you’re ready to become aware of your thoughts and adjust them over time, gone head and grab a notebook and a good pen. We've compiled a list of 10 journal prompts that will transport you to a world of tranquility and leave stress and anxiety in the dust!

  1. "Dear Future Me"

Okay so boom, imagine yourself one year from now. Write a letter to your future self, expressing your hopes, dreams, and the amazing achievements you've accomplished. Let your imagination run wild as you envision an stress-free, triumphant version of yourself. What DJ Drama say in that Tyler, The Creator song?— “The sky is just what we stand on to reach the beyond.”

2. "Gratitude is a must"

List five things you're grateful for today. It could be something as simple as eating a big breakfast or talking to a friend. Focusing on the positive aspects of your life will shift your mindset and reduce stress.

3. ''The Purge''

This is where you write down everything that’s weighing on your mind, and I mean everything. It doesn’t matter if it’s messy, as long as all your anxieties are written down. Once they're on paper, you'll find a sense of relief knowing they're no longer bouncing around in your head. Take a deep breath and let those worries go.

4. "a lesson learned"

Describe an obstacle you’ve faced recently and how you persevered through it. Did you learn a lesson from this challenging experience? How did overcoming this situation help your personal growth? How well do you think you handled the situation? When we face struggles in life, it's all about finding the positive in the midst of chaos.

5. "have you ever had a dream?”

Create a dream journal entry. Write about a dream you had last night or a recurring dream that intrigues you. Dive into the symbolism and explore the hidden meanings. Unraveling your dreams can be a fascinating way to understand your subconscious mind.

6. "I be that pretty MF"

If you’re not your own biggest fan, no one else will be. List five things you love about yourself to help boost confidence. From your work ethic, to any physical attributes, jot down the things that make you special (the list doesn’t have to end at 5!). Use this list as a go-to guide whenever self-doubt starts creeping in.

7. "Nature feels"

Describe your favorite natural setting. Whether it's a sandy beach, a lush forest, or a majestic mountain peak, take yourself on a journey through vivid descriptions. What scents do you smell in your scene? How does being here make you feel? Immerse yourself in the bliss of nature, even if only on paper.

8. "so how about that airplane food?"

(If you get the above reference, we locked in.)

Write about something funny that happened to you or a memory that will always make you laugh. Describe the event in detail, revisiting a time that made you laugh ‘till your stomach cramped. Laughter is the best medicine, and laughing can instantly lighten your mood and release tension.

9. "what could be better?"

Write about what you think could be better in your life. This may sound counterproductive but when you get real about what your desires are, you can reflect on how much you already have. This will help you be fully present in the moment.

And if this makes you realize how much you want in life, use that energy to manifest your dreams!

10. "let that Sh*t go!"

Holding on to things that don’t serve you can be like having an extra weight on your shoulders. It’s important to identify things you need to let go of, whether it's a grudge, a fear, or a limiting belief. Write a letter to yourself or the person involved, expressing your emotions and intentions. Free yourself from the weight of the past and embrace the freedom of forgiveness.
